About Knight Concert Hall
The Knight Concert Hall is part of one of the largest performing arts centers in the world, the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts.
Its counterpart is the Ziff Ballet Opera House. The new concert hall is designed to seat up to 2200 persons and is considered to have the best acoustics in the Southern Florida area.
The hall is the premier venue for all Broadway musicals, music shows, and symphony performances. The Knight Concert Hall was specifically designed with world class acoustics tailored to the classical arts. Symphony orchestras, opera, recitals, chamber music, and chamber orchestras are ideally suited to play here.
In an amazing performance in May 08, Noa graced the stage of the concert hall for a one night performance. Noa is Israel’s leading recording artist on tour this year to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the State of Israel.
She played a mixture of jazz, rock, and even some old Middle Eastern folk music. Located just walking distance away from the concert hall is the opera house. The Ziff Ballet Opera House has the same basic acoustical system as the concert hall, but has a few more hundred seats available.

The debut of Giacomo Puccini’s Tosca also made its premiere performance at the Ziff Ballet Opera House just last month. This production is one of the most dramatic operas being performed on stage this year. Its plot has torture, murder, attempted rape, and even suicide.
This is one of the first major operas to set its premiere in Southern Florida. Most producers choose the more well known theatres in New York for the first performance of a new opera, but Miami was chosen for this beautiful story to be told for the first time.
These two new venues have become an important highlight in the Miami arts community. The success of the newly renovated buildings is evident by the top quality talent that is accepting invitations to perform here every year. If the arts programs at the Adrienne Arsht Center keep continuing to grow as they are now, we may have a new entertainment capital blossoming in Miami.
